  • How do you harness the knowledge and expertise of everyone in your organisation?
  • Is it possible to develop the capability of everyone to solve problems and how do you improve way they do the work everyday?
  • What learning process do leaders need to follow to develop lean team working?
  • What is the structure, activities and roles & responsibilities needed for effective lean team working?

About Employee Involvement Teamworking

Self reliance to problem solving & improving the work is the principal goal of Employee Involvement Teamworking. So to do this we need to develop people capability. We also need to give the right skills at the right time to improve processes. In addition we need to learn new ways of working to sustain improvement. There is no other way!

Therefore if we don’t involve our people, the default historical result is a “command and control style” of leadership. This is where leaders try and dictate what improves/what doesn’t within the time & budget constraints they have. Thus growth is slow and improvement is often ad-hoc (project based) and not continuous everyday! Understanding Employee Involvement (EI) Teamworking is critical in providing structure, activities and roles & responsibilities. As a result, it ensures that everyone is developed in problem solving and improving their daily work.
