Lean Skills Development Through Guided Learning
To help you learn and apply Lean Thinking and Practice to your work, we are putting key subject materials to support your Lean Learning Journey in one place for our customers.
Because we want to reduce your non-value added time, by providing the right information at the right time and at the right place so individuals & organisations can develop a thorough knowledge of Lean Thinking and Practice.
Overview for A3 Practical Problem Solving
You may have come here because you want to get the most out of one of the books “Managing to Learn”, “Understanding A3 Thinking” or “Four Types of Problems” you’ve purchased.
You may be here because you want to start or further develop your skills on problem solving or A3 Thinking.
But whatever the reason, we hope to encourage the lean community to become effective learners for life.
Focusing on your skill development rather than training completion or certification!
– David Brunt CEO Lean Enterprise Academy
For each subject we try to use a Visual Poster to teach and coach through your “Lean Learning Journey”
So first step is to develop some basic knowledge & awareness of a subject – Skill Level 1
This is what the Skill Level 1 section of our platform aims to achieve for A3 Practical Problem Solving.
This is actually where most class-room or on-line education stops.
Skill Level 2 encourages people to learn more deeply about the subject area.
Then you can practically apply it in Skill Level 3 and become capable to teach others in Skill Level 4
To develop your thinking & practice through each skill level we use a Four Step “Guided Learning Path” which follows the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle.
