UK Lean Summit 2025 – Start with Why?

Our standardised work for the UK Lean Summit starts with reflection. How was the previous event? What worked? What gaps do we have? What did we and the delegates learn? Should we hold an event the following year?

Why we need a UK Lean Summit? What is the Purpose?

Lean thinkers know how important it is to define purpose – in this case the reason for holding the event. Whilst the content changes, the underlying purpose has remained the same since we held the first event in 1997. The purpose is: to learn and share with each other. The idea being that we get inspiration from each other’s stories.

The purpose of the Summit is summarised as:

  • To share how lean thinking can be used to solve the problems of today and tomorrow.
  • To raise consciousness of the latest developments in Lean Thinking and Practice.
  • To provide insight into practical ways to get started, deepen or enhance your Lean journey and transformation.
  • To enable participants to build their own network of Lean Thinkers.
