1) Rapid Problem Solving Teach Poster
Core to the “Guided Learning” process is the Teach Poster.
The Poster helps learning through visualisation of the Key Points.
It’s easy to understand and use a reminder of the right-thinking way to solve a problem.
You can use it as a visual trigger at your place of work to follow the 4 step process and show others.
When you reach Skill Level 4 you can also use the poster to teach and coach others as a more interactive method rather than death by power point!
You will learn the Rapid Problem Solving method by following the visualised steps on the poster.
The top section of the poster relates to the Purpose, Process and People aspects of Practical Problem Solving, which you should have already covered in the free Skill Level 1: Knowledge Course. If you have not already completed this course, we advise that you do. It only takes about 60 minutes to complete.
The 4 Steps in the lower portion of the teach poster are the process to follow.
Print Out on A4, A3 or up to A0 size for teaching groups.

2) Teach Poster Facilitation Guide
The purpose of this guide is to explain in detail the key learning points for each of the 4 Rapid Problem Solving Steps
Download and use this guide to review each visual Teach Point on the 4 Step RPS Teach Poster in detail.
It includes a description of : Important Steps, Key Points & Reasons Why.
This facilitation guide can be used for face to face Teaching of the 4 Step RPS Method.

3) Delegate Workbook & Learning Exercise Case Study
You MUST Download this Delegate Workbook to complete the Learning Exercise Case Study for solving a problem using the 4 Step RPS method.
It contains all of the materials required in order to complete the Case Study and space for you to make notes about each of the 4 Steps whilst completing the course.
The blank answer Quadrant Chart template is also included in the Workbook, but you can use the separate pre-formatted Worksheet if you prefer (see next Download).

9) MUDA – The 8 Wastes Teach Poster
MUDA – The 8 Wastes – Non Manufacturing (Business) and Manufacturing (Operational) Proccesses.
Teach Poster of the 8 Wastes (or 7 +1) to understand what waste is, so problems with the work can be identified.
Uses the acronym “DOWNTIME” to help people remember.
Covers each Waste through visualisation, description and examples.
Overproduction is in Red as it is seen as the worst Waste of all and can lead to all of the others.
The 8th Waste – No Employee Involvement was added to the original 7 Wastes.
