As part of the build ups to our UK Lean Summit we have asked several speakers to discuss the topics they will be sharing. The purpose of these webinars is:

  • To preview the Summit content.
  • To enable potential participants to ask questions about the topic and the event.
  • To help delegates get the most from the in-person Summit.

“Lean and green” is a phrase that has been used for a long time. One of the biggest challenges facing us as a society is how to minimise the environmental impact we have. In this webinar Neil and the LEA team will ask how lean thinking and practice can be used to help solve these problems and the benefits from doing so.

Practical Cases for Introducing Kaizen - 16th February

In this webinar, Lean Coach and Author of Lean Houses for Dragons Sharon Visser will be discussing her Kaizen learning session for the upcoming the UK Lean Summit. The session will share how she introduces kaizen – usually in challenging environments. It focusses on the practical, rather than theoretical aspects of supporting teams and team members.

In the Lean & Digital – Aligning People and Strategy learning session at the UK Lean Summit,  Strategy Deployment Ltd look at how lean thinking and practice can help align everyone around the “right” problems to solve for their situation. Claire Philips and Director of Data Solutions Brett Robinson will be discussing how a best practice process for Strategy Deployment (Hoshin) can be designed to give visibility and alignment using a digital software package at the summit.
