Course Introduction
Kaizen Activities – Skill Level 1: Knowledge
This course will give you basic knowledge about Kaizen Activities. Kaizen is a fundamental skill to develop in people who want to apply lean thinking & practice within their organisation.
Why? Because the starting point for lean is understanding what situational problems you have and engaging everyone to help solve them – making change for the better. Therefore, if you can engage everyone in Kaizen Activities you will deliver more value to your customers and organisation, whilst developing your people.
Skill Level 1 Purpose, Process and People
In Purpose, you will learn about where Kaizen fits in to the Lean Transformation Framework. Also, why it is so important and the benefits of it supporting People & Organisational Development.
For Process, we will explain the Four Key Elements when applying Kaizen. Also we will simply explain the different types of approaches for different levels in the organisation.
In People, you will understand the roles and responsibilities around developing people capability to have a Kaizen Mindset.

1 hour of self-paced guided learning consisting of Four Lessons and a Learning Confirmation. The Four Lessons are Prepare the Learner, Present Learning Topic, Tryout Learning Topic and Follow Up. Once enrolled you will have unlimited access to the course for life!

Completion of the Course
At the end of the course and succesful completion of the Learning Confirmation you will automatically recieve a printable “Certificate of Completion” for Skill Level 1 (this does not certify capability to do however). You need to be signed in to your account to print the certificate.
Progressing onto Skill Level 2: Understanding
COMING SOON! – Skill Level 2 is aimed at developing your Understanding of Kaizen Activities – the method to do them and to capture the results.
