Reflections on Lean in Healthcare
Dan Jones shows how lean in healthcare is going through the same evolution as lean has done in manufacturing and other sectors. In the same way it needs to someone takes responsibility for streamlining the core end-to-end value streams so others can synchronise their activities to enable this steady flow and it needs managers to help colleagues see, respond to and understand the root causes of problems interrupting the flow.
