The Lean Global Network

The Members of the Lean Global Network include a growing number of non-profit organizations that are devoted to the promotion of lean thinking throughout the world.

The members are completely independent, but interact on a regular basis. They offer a variety of services across the globe, including translations of LEI books, conferences, training as well as other activities to assist companies making lean transformations.

Lean Global Network

The core group of the Lean Global Network consists of the founding Lean Enterprise Institute in the USA, the Lean Enterprise Academy in the UK and Lean Institute Brazil. They carry the responsibility for thought leadership, developing new products and the organization of the Lean Global Network. Jose Ferro from Brazil is responsible for coordinating the Lean Global Network and supporting the development of new members.

Welcome

The Lean Enterprise Academy (LEA) is a non-profit Academy based in the UK. It is a core member of the Lean Global Network established by the Lean Enterprise Institute (LEI) in the USA, who are organising seven Lean Summits in 2006.


LEA and LEI were founded by Professor Daniel T Jones and Dr. James P Womack respectively - the co-authors of The Machine that Changed the World and Lean Thinking.
