LEAN SUMMIT 2010 - What you are saying ...

Welcome to the Lean Summit 2010
New Horizons for Lean Thinking
Daniel Jones - Lean Enterprise Academy

Tuesday 2nd November 2010

Brilliant Opening to the Lean Summit 2010 ...
I can't wait to hear the rest of the programme over the next two days.

Thank goodness I came to the Summit - and its only day 1 opening plenary!

Professor Jones’ 5 points of a management role set the scene for Takashi Tanaka and Sharon Tanner’s shared experiences at QV systems and Boeing - priceless learning shared with the delegates - excellent

Good to share different experience through different industries. Looking forward to going ahead.
David Vivier

What a great day! It's so good to hear lean leaders talking about real experiments that are improving value for customers.

My first time here;
Excellent arrangement,
great inspiration and network expansion ...

Had a great first day -
I already cannot stop the thinking on what-to-do-next-when-I-return-in-the-office ...
Loads of inspiration!
Suzanne van Egmond

I wonder if we Lean could achieve even more by paying more attention to the :
- new roles of management in relation to lean
- it is to them often a new paradigm
- people side / respect / behaviour ...
is a key issue in the West - could that be researched on further ?

Wednesday 3rd November 2010

Great to see that everyone in this room shares the same concerns and passion about the Lean journey ...
Listening to the various presentations and experiences, I am even more enthusiastic about the future benefits that Lean will bring to my company !
Laurent Kuboj

Inspiring plenary session - has given me renewed enthusiasm ...
Loving the interaction in the workshops

Next time ... could you arrange visits to nearby Lean sites ?

Considering the Manager’s role in Lean deployment, how thinking and doing go hand in hand with using the scientific method and continuous reflection has given much food for thought!

It's so valuable to network with other lean implementers to learn, renew enthusiasm and realise that actually we are making a difference.

Currently at the Lean Summit 2010 ...
... brilliant speakers! Great networking opportunities too ...

I arrived at the summit with no idea as to how I could successfully implement LEAN across our commercial business. I left with vision and an implementation plan. Thank you
