Biography

Lizzie Lewis

Lizzie joined the Lean Enterprise Academy in November 2003, having freelanced for a number of years as a conference organiser. She is responsible for the Lean Events, Workshops, and overall operational management of the LEA office.

She has a language background with a degree in French and German, and used this to work for a production company organising the foreign language versions of their documentary films. She went on to production manage and then produce a range of programmes including Broadcast, Corporate and Training films in the UK and abroad. As a freelancer she continued producing films and videos, as well conferences. She has successfully organised a broad range of international events, conferences and meetings both large and small from one day to one week, for groups of 15 to 300 people, in locations as diverse as Bogota to Barcelona, Cancun to Cannes and LA to London.

Welcome

The Lean Enterprise Academy (LEA) is a non-profit Academy based in the UK. It is a core member of the Lean Global Network established by the Lean Enterprise Institute (LEI) in the USA, who are organising seven Lean Summits in 2006.


LEA and LEI were founded by Professor Daniel T Jones and Dr. James P Womack respectively - the co-authors of The Machine that Changed the World and Lean Thinking.
