Daniel T Jones was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Science by the University of Buckingham in the UK at its degree ceremony on 20 March.
As far as we know this is the first academic recognition of this kind anywhere in the world for the contribution of Lean Thinking to management and business studies.
Daniel T Jones said “This award reflects the work of many thousands of people across the globe who are turning Lean thinking into practice and changing the world for the better.”
